I recently read an article about a 56lb male lab mix that died from raisin toxicity. It seems he a about half a canister of raisins causing more kidney damage than any veterinary care could repair. According to the article I read poison control said " as few as seven raisins or grapes could be toxic".
I am as guilty as the next dog lover of providing my hound with all sorts of tasty morsels from pancakes ( with butter and syrup) to ice cream (with a cherry) but I think I will be more careful in the future with what I share with Hounder.
